Whether that be vocational training or ensuring they&#8217;ve skills that encourage and motivate them to be creative or just provide support and relaxation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We at Callistyle have worked with numerous schools and students to achieve these very aims. Our goal is to give every child a skill that promotes creativity, relaxation, and discipline. As such, we have decided to conduct a handwriting or penmanship competition with students from schools all across India in various categories. While there is a cash prize at the end for the winning student, the goal is to foster cultural exchange between students who are interested in the same skill.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Fine_handwriting\"><\/span><strong>Fine handwriting:<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The benefits of fine handwriting are numerous, as you no doubt know. As a country where our education system still relies on pen and paper examinations, good and speedy writing can help a student appear presentable in their answer sheets. Since our brains and our writing skills are deeply connected, we tend to recall better when writing by hand.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As an adult, good handwriting could help them with government papers. Journaling is a mindfulness associated skill that helps people calm their minds and focus on the now. While handwriting may not be the first thing that comes to mind when one mentions journaling, can you really argue that if a child feels passionate and confident about their penmanship they would want to incorporate it across different sectors of life? Not to mention, good handwriting can help build fine motor skills and such artistic ability, especially if the student progresses to calligraphy, can open career doors and help them get popular with their peers who are interested in or who benefit from such skills. Such friendship is further enhanced by cultural exchanges.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Are you eager to not only enhance the reputation of your institution by having a national champion in your halls but also provide your students with all the above mentioned benefits?\u00a0 While we aren&#8217;t allowing individual entries for our contest, any school can send their students from grades 1 to 12 to participate. We will be conducting the competition at the school premises itself.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Not only will we provide the materials for the contest and encourage all types of penmanship, but to maximize the chances of success for each and every student, we will also conduct training via video lessons and worksheets before the competition for the same. The worksheet will allow them to see where they&#8217;re making mistakes, giving them the chance to improve.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Should any student win the school-level contest, we will conduct a larger inter-school event, where principals from various institutions will be invited. This shall be followed by a state and then a national-level championship. All the participants will receive a participation certificate, with the winner grabbing a Cash prize and Winning Certificate. The winners will be chosen by our handwriting and calligraphy experts on basis of factors like legibility, spelling, and style.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To facilitate all this, we request a small registration fee and that you sort your students in three categories. Grades 1-3 will be the first category, followed by grades 4-7 will be the second category, and finally grades 8-12 will be the third categoty. This is done to ensure that the students competing for the honour of being the national champion are of similar skill levels. We will select three winners from each category at every level to ensure the best students from each group get their moment to shine and make their parents proud of their child as well as the educational institute they chose to send their child to.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Register today for the Callistyle handwriting contest to enhance the reputation of
